David Warner is one of the most active cricketers on social media. The Australian opener utilizes his social media profiles to amuse his fans, unlike most cricketers who use them to earn money by promoting various businesses. The Australian cricketer often takes the masses on a laugh riot by sharing rib-tickling videos of his face swapped with Indian film stars, especially Tollywood celebrities, in some popular songs. And, this time around, David caught the attention of many after he edited his face on Rashimika Mandanna’s face in a popular Telugu song.
The southpaw, who has a special place in his heart for the city of Hyderabad, keeps posting hilarious spoofs of famous songs and dialogues, mainly from South Indian movies.
During the coronavirus pandemic, when cricket came to a halt, the 36-year-old used his downtime to interact with his followers on social media. Any popular song or line of speech would be his choice to replace with another.
During the pandemic, he had enough of free time, so he created a fun project. However, it quickly gained popularity among Indian admirers, and he was unable to escape from it.

Till now, Warner had restricted his face-swapping videos to male actors but recently the opener took his spoof to a whole new level. Perhaps, for the first time, he swapped his face over actress Rashmika Mandanna’s famous song ‘Whattey Beauty’ from the 2020 Telugu movie ‘Bheeshma’.

Even Warner knew felt weird and it reflected his caption, which read, “sooooo sorry for this one #guess #weird,” accompanied by multiple faces with tears of joy emojis and rolling on the floor laughing emojis.
As soon as posted the video on his Instagram account, it was flooded with hilarious comments from fans and former cricketers. Reacting to the video, former Indian allrounder Yuvraj Singh commented, “Never looked better (rolling on the floor emoji).”
Feeling guilty about it himself, Warner tagged Rashmika Mandanna and issued a sincere apology, while insisting that he was under some sort of pressure to do this.
“I’m all sorry @rashmika_mandanna I had to,” Warner wrote in the comments section of his video.
Warner’s fans in India, however, loved his hilarious video and showered it with their love and affection. The post received over 670k likes and thousands of comments.
