The finale featured five couples competing for a chance to win the “Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy,” renamed this season in honor of the legendary head judge who died in April.
Each celebrity performed a redemption dance and a freestyle routine with their partner. The finale featured many choreographed dance numbers, including an opening number with all Season 32 couples returning to the stage to “Young Hearts Run Free” by Candi Staton.
The couples then performed a holiday-themed dance set to “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town” by Mariah Carey.

“Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness” actor Xochitl Gomez with partner Val Chmerkovskiy were crowned ‘Dancing with the Stars’ champions.
