KARACHI: At least 89 more people have died in Pakistan due to the global pandemic coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths due to the virus across the country has risen to 25,978.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 4,103 coronavirus cases were reported across the country in the last 24 hours. The total number of coronavirus cases across the country has risen to 1,167,791.
According to the NCOC, 61,651 coronavirus tests were performed in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, the rate of corona positive cases was 6.65 percent. The number of cases of COVID-19 in Sindh is 433,931, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 163,010, in Punjab 396,326, in Islamabad 99,910, in Balochistan 32,248, in Azad Kashmir 32,380 and In Gilgit-Baltistan, it has become 9,952.

The highest number of deaths due to coronavirus was in Punjab where 11,959 people lost their lives while 6,924 in Sindh, 5,015 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 866 in Islamabad, 173 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 339 in Balochistan and Azad Kashmir. 702 people have lost their lives.
