LAHORE: The High Court has ordered to impose a fine of 3,000 for washing cars in homes.
A hearing was held in the Lahore High Court on smog remediation petitions in which the court said that since the smog season has started, preparations have to be made 6 months in advance.
The court said that the water problem in the country is becoming very serious. Therefore, a fine of Rs 3000 should be imposed for washing cars in homes, which will go to the WASA treasury.Â
Apart from this, the court also ordered to impose a fine of Rs 5,000 for parking the vehicle in the wrong place in the city. On the other hand, the Lahore High Court has also taken notice of the initiation of development projects in the city.
The court said that the caretaker government does not know why it is so early to start the development project.
