ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the four major political parties of the country must determine a national path, while we demand that the elections should be fair and transparent.
According to the details, the PML-N leader, speaking during a private TV program, said that transparent elections have never been held in the past if Imran Khan had been in jail, questions would surely have arisen about the election.
During the conversation, Abbasi said that I am not interested in the present election as it is pointless. “If the parties have no direction, the elections will be pointless. Four major political parties of the country think of the national interests,” he asserted.
The former prime minister said that everyone including Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif should get out of politics because this is not the time for politics. “I had expressed my opinion in the meeting with Nawaz Sharif,” he maintained.
Abbasi said that Nawaz Sharif did not respond to his opinion, it is not necessary to respond to everything. “What is the pressure on Tehreek-e-Insaaf, only PTI leaders will tell. Usman Dar and Sadaqat Abbasi tell us who picked them up,” he said.
