LAHORE: President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, who was arrested last night, has been produced in District Court.
The anti-corruption police arrived in district Kachhari with the former chief minister under tight security. During the hearing, anti-corruption demanded a 14-day physical remand of Elahi, the government lawyer said that he had caused damage to the treasury by misuse of powers.

Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Murtaza reserved the decision after the arguments of the lawyers. Earlier, Elahi also met his son Rasikh Elahi in the courtroom.
It should be noted that Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was arrested by anti-corruption yesterday from Lahore. It should be noted that a case has been registered against him for taking a commission in government contracts in anti-corruption.
