RAWALPINDI: The IIMCT Railway General Hospital has been ordered to ensure a 24-hour treatment for the patients of the coronavirus.
According to details, doctors, paramedical staff and support staff in this regard have been informed to stay alert in this regard. Moreover, the isolation ward has also been set up in the hospital.
In this regard, Engineer Asadullah Khan, the Executive Director of Islamic International Medical College Trust, paid a surprise visit at the IIMCT Railway General Hospital Rawalpindi yesterday and reviewed the steps regarding the coronavirus. He expressed satisfaction over the measures taken to prevent the spread and protection being taken against the coronavirus, the isolation ward, the equipment given to hospital staff and the overall performance of the hospital.
Asadullah Khan directed the management to keep the hospital open for 24 hours and treat coronavirus patients day and night. Chief Brigadier (R) Wasim and Deputy Dr. Arbaz Ali were also present on the occasion. Dr. Arbaz Ali, while briefing, said that the doctors, paramedical staff and support staff of IIMCT Hospital have been provided the necessary equipment for their safety.
According to Dr. Arbaz Ali, instructions from the government and the Ministry of Railways have been set up for patients coming to the hospital emergency screening counter which has been working for 24 hours.
