WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has infected 60,720,501 people worldwide and caused 1,426,834 deaths.
In the world, 42,031,578 patients of coronavirus have been cured and more than 117,262,089 are undergoing treatment. The coronavirus situation is the worst in the United States, with 268,219 deaths and more than 13,137,962 million reported cases.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 135,261 deaths and more than 9,266,705 people diagnosed with the virus. The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is 170,779 and more than 6,166,000 people are affected.
In France, more than 2,170,097 million people were affected and 50,618 lost their lives. More than 2,162,000 people in Russia have been infected with the coronavirus, bringing the total death toll to 37,538.
More than 1,622,632 million people have been affected in Spain, while 44,000 have died. In the UK, 1,557,007 million coronavirus cases and 56,533 deaths have been reported.

The first five million cases traveled around the world in 186 days. It took 43 days to get 10 million to 20 million cases. Another 10 million cases were reported in the next 38 days.
The first 100,000 deaths were reported in 89 days. On 5th June, the death toll crossed 400,000. On 20th August, the death toll rose to 800,000.
