WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has killed 1,045,942 people worldwide and infected 35,698,262.
The number of healthy people from the coronavirus has reached 268.66 million and there are 7785664 active cases. The United States ranks first among countries infected with the coronavirus, with 215,032 people dying and 76,79,644 people being diagnosed with the virus.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 1,682,000 people diagnosed with the coronavirus and 1,3,600 deaths. Brazil is the third most affected country in the world, with 4,940,499 people affected and 146,773 deaths.

More than 1.225 million people have been infected with the coronavirus in Russia, bringing the total number of deaths to 21,475. Colombia is the fifth most affected country by the coronavirus, with 26,844 deaths and more than 862,000 reported cases.
In Peru, more than 829,000 people have been affected, while 32,834 people have lost their lives. More than 852,000 people have been affected in Spain and 32,225 have died.
The first death from coronavirus was reported on 11th January 2020 in China. On April 9, the total death toll from coronavirus rose to 100,000. The first 100,000 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the first 89 days.
