CALIFORNIA: More than 20,000 people have died and over 450,000 infected by the Coronavirus outbreak as it spreads rapidly around 182 countries across the globe.
Most of the countries where the coronavirus cases on peak declared a state of national emergency and lockdowns. Precautionary steps are being taken by governments in several countries across the world suffering from Coronavirus.
China announced that it would end the two-month lockdown on Wuhan, the city where the first coronavirus emerged, The epicenter of the diseases has now moved to Europe, particularly Italy, which is reporting a rapid increase in new cases and deaths every day.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the United States mounted to 54,867 with 775 deaths. Iran reported 1934 casualties from the coronavirus, while, the number of confirmed cases of the diseases were registered more than 24,880.
In Spain, the number of fatalities surpassed those of China as it has been one of the worst-hit states taking down the 3rd highest number of deaths with the latest toll ranking at 2,696 after another 514 people died.
Despite an extraordinary lockdown enforced last week, deaths and infections have continued to rise, with the Spanish army called in to join efforts to restrain the spread of the diseases.
Saudi Arabia registered its first death from the coronavirus as the country’s total tally of infections jumped to 767, the kingdom health ministry report revealed.
