ISLAMABAD: The federal government has filed a contempt of court petition in the Supreme Court against Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.
In the petition filed by the federal government, a position has been taken that Imran Khan is making long march and protest announcements towards Islamabad, Imran Khan is violating the Supreme Court orders, the petition stated.
It has been said in the petition that the Supreme Court had allowed Imran Khan to hold a peaceful protest, but Imran Khan is once again making announcements to attack Islamabad.
In the petition filed by the federal government, it has been requested that the Supreme Court should order Imran Khan to ensure the implementation of its orders regarding protests and sit-ins.
It should be noted that Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has announced a long march toward Islamabad, but the date of the long march has not been announced by him yet.
Even today, during a speech at Pir Meher Ali Shah University in Rawalpindi, Imran Khan said that he is going to give a call very soon, he is not afraid of jail or even death, he will fight till the end against thieves and mafia.
