Confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide exceed 32 million

WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has killed 982,442 people worldwide and infected 32,126,541.

Around the world, 236,999,810 people infected with the coronavirus have recovered and the number of active cases has come down to 7,444,289.

The United States ranks first among the countries affected by the coronavirus, with 26,598 people dying and more than 7,140,000 diagnosed with the virus.

India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases where the total number of coronavirus cases has increased from 57.37 million. The total number of deaths from corona in India has risen to 91,204.

Coronavirus is the third most affected country in Brazil, with 4.627 million people affected and 139,065 deaths. Russia ranks fourth among countries infected with the coronavirus, with more than 1.122 million people infected with the virus and a total death toll of 19,799.

Colombia is the fifth most affected country by the coronavirus, with 24,746 deaths and more than 784,000 reported cases. In Peru, more than 782,000 people have been affected, while 31,870 have lost their lives.

The death toll from coronavirus in South Africa has risen to 16,206, with more than 665,000 people affected. More than 710,000 people have been affected in Mexico and 74,949 deaths have been reported.
