KARACHI: In another incident of rising street crimes, a college student was shot dead by criminals during a robbery attempt in Landhi area of the city.
The incident took place in 36-B area of Landhi when a student Usman, who was witnessing a mobile snatching incident. Usman’s friend said he was getting ready for going to college when he heard a fire. He rushed to the gate and saw Usman lying there.
The friend said Usman was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. Usman was a first-year college student. The youth was reportedly shot in the neck which proved fatal.
