KARACHI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited Nagarparkar and briefed the troops on their operational readiness and spent the day with them.
According to details, COAS Bajwa visited Nagarparkar district of Sindh province yesterday and spent the day with the troops. The Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Army Chief was briefed on the operational readiness of the formation at Nagarparkar.
According to ISPR, the Chief of Army Staff appreciated the courage of the Pakistan Army personnel and stressed the importance of effective training to face any challenge. Later, the Chief of Army Staff also met leaders of the local Hindu community.

During the meeting, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that minorities in Pakistan have equal rights. The state has a responsibility to ensure the safety of minorities living in the country. The Hindu community acknowledged the state’s efforts to provide a safe environment for minorities.
The Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) said that Corps Commander Karachi and DG Rangers Sindh also accompanied the Army Chief during his visit to Nagar Parker. Earlier, the soldiers expressed happiness over the Army Chief’s encouragement.
