ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has held a meeting with Director-General of the NATO International Military Staff (DGIMS), Lieutenant General Hans-Werner Wiermann to discuss matters of mutual interest.
According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interests, including regional security situations, were discussed during the meeting.

The visiting dignitary appreciated the role of the Pakistan Army in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
Earlier on 4th November, The COAS chaired the 226th Corps Commanders’ Conference at Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
During the forum, the geostrategic and national security environment was reviewed. The internal security was also discussed.
