TAUNSA SHARIF: Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has inaugurated 13 development programs in Taunsa Sharif.
While speaking in a ceremony, the chief minister said that in the previous period, the funds of southern Punjab were spent on other projects.
He assured that he would bring prosperity for the undeveloped areas of the province. He also laid the foundation stone of the Government Technical Training Institute in Taunsa.
He informed that the institute would be constructed on a 100-Kanal land at a cost of Rs300 million whereas Rs627.4 will be spent on beautification of the city.
The projects are designed to ensure irrigation of the cultivated lands in the area of the Muzaffargarh and Dera Ghazi Khan Tehsil canals, and through the Taunsa-Panjnad Link Canal that supplements the water supply to Panjnad head-works canals.and its also known by the name of younan-e-sager because of its education.
