QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan will chair a high-level meeting today over the on-going disease coronavirus.
The meeting would be attended by the Chief Secretary Balochistan and heads of other concerned departments.
During the meeting, the cabinet will discuss prevention strategy to deal with spread of coronavirus after the first case was reported in Balochistan.
The move came after when a 12-year-old teenage boy was diagnosed with the coronavirus at a Quetta hospital.
The boy, as per reports, arrived in Quetta from Iran via the Taftan border last night tested positive for the disease at the Fatima Jinnah Hospital.
Pakistan has recently opened its Taftan border gate with Iran for trade after two weeks of closure following the outbreak of the coronavirus that killed more than 100 in the neighboring country.
