ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that the statement of Chief Justice of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf’s verdict needed clarification.
Fawad Chaudhry posted a tweet about how CJP Justice Asif Saeed Khosa’s statement was inappropriate and needed to be clarified.
Chaudhry wrote, “An explanation is required on Chief Justice’s conversation with media yesterday. This conversation gives an impression as if CJ (Asif Khosa) himself influenced the case and pressurized courts to take specific decision.”

He added, “It is a highly inappropriate thing attributed with the Chief Justice of Pakistan,” Fawad wrote on twitter.”
Earlier, Asif Saeed Khosa reacted to former president Pervez Musharraf’s death sentence, “The matter would have gone on for many years. If the court did not have hurried, many occasions have been tempted.”
The special court earlier on Tuesday awarded the death sentence to Pervez Musharraf after he was found guilty in the high treason case.
