KARACHI: Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed has expressed his outrage on the authorities over the building being collapsed in Karachi yesterday.
Earlier today, SC Justice Gulzar Ahmad conduct the hearing of illegal encroachments and Circular Railway at the Supreme Court’s Karachi Registry.
During the hearing, Justice Gulzar Ahmad remarked that all provincial institutions were corrupt and did not work properly until they are held accountable.
He expressed his anger that a building collapsed claiming the lives of the people but no one showed any concern.
While commenting on the encroachment case, the CJP probed from Advocate General Sindh Salman Talibuddin about the progress in the Circular Railway project.
To which Salman Talibuddin replied that the action has been taken against all corrupt officers.
IN the last hearing, Justice Gulzar Ahmed ordered the authorities to make the Karachi Circular Railways (KCR) project functional within six months.
CJP warned that he would issue the contempt of court notices to Prime Minister and Chief Minister Sindh if his orders are not implemented on time.
