ISLAMABAD: The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Islamabad today (Friday) has arrested two members of a gang involved hiding in a storm drain under a busy freeway.
According to details, the arrested accused were involved in several robberies and other heinous crimes in Sector F6 and F7, while the gang leader, Sami, managed to escape.
An official of the investigation agency has informed that the action was taken on a tip-off. “The arrested accused had set up beds inside the drains,” he added. Earlier on Thursday, the police arrested alleged killers of an 11-year-old girl.
According to details, CIA and Secretariat police arrested three accused identified as Muhammad Khurshid, Shah Sawar and Syed Hamad Naqvi, residents of Bari Imam for allegedly killing the child and making it look like suicide.
