The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that China is ready to continue helping promote relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan, as reported by international media.
In a statement, the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that they welcome Pakistan and Afghanistan upgrading their diplomatic missions to the ambassadorial level, and believe that this step will help enhance cooperation and mutual trust between the two countries and contribute to regional peace and stability.
The spokesperson further stated that China is prepared to continue assisting in the development of Pakistan-Afghanistan relations. Both countries are implementing the outcomes of the trilateral foreign ministers’ meeting.
The spokesperson said that China will continue to play a constructive role in improving and advancing Pakistan-Afghanistan relations.
He added that China is ready to work with regional countries to maintain peace and stability in the region and is prepared to work on building a community with a shared future among neighboring countries.
