China booked a spot in the final of the 2024 Asian Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament by defeating Pakistan in the first semi-final held today at the Moqi Hockey Training Base in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia, China.
After a 1-1 draw at full time, China triumphed in the penalty shootout, winning 2-0.
The match was a tense and closely fought contest, with both teams showcasing impressive skill and determination. However, Pakistan’s fate was sealed when they missed four consecutive penalties during the shootout, allowing China to claim victory.
With this win, China advanced to the finals, where they will face the winner of the second semi-final between South Korea and India. Pakistan, on the other hand, will compete in the third-place playoff.
