Baraf Pani
Located in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Johar, the shop claims to serve the best and most unique limca in town. The owner of the shop said, “We are the first to introduce bitter gourd flavor in Karachi.”
“In India, shopkeepers usually make it with water, but here we add soda in it. It also has three flavors. We have also introduced black sour flavor and these two flavors are nowhere else in Karachi except us,” he added.
The owner further said, “We always try to offer new flavors to our customers.” The shop offers limcas at different prices, starting from Rs70 to Rs150.
Special Handi Limca
This joint has its own uniqueness. Situated at Karachi’s Kharadar area, instead of glass, the shop offers limca in a handi (small steel boiler). The shop offers different limca flavours including pineapple, lychee, and orange.
The shopkeeper has said that it may seem strange to the citizens to drink limca in Handi for the first time but those who drink it once, they surely return. “Our way of making limca is very different from others,” he said. Limca is offered here at Rs. 80 in disposable glass and Rs. 120 in handi.
Icemokes
Like smoky products then you must visit Icemokes. Located at DHA’s Khadda Market, the shop has its own example in terms of flavours.
The staff member said, “We have changed the perception of limcas n Karachi. We have introduced something new that is never tried before.” The shop offers different limca flavours with a unique smoke. Here Smoky limca is offered for Rs 80.
