Chelsea announced Mykhailo Mudryk as its fifth signing of the January transfer window on Sunday, after the Ukrainian winger completed his move from Shakhtar Donetsk to the Premier League club.
In a statement, Shakhtar said they “will receive 70 million euros ($76 million) for the player and another 30 million euros is envisaged as a bonus payment.”
The 22-year-old has signed on an eight-and-a-half-year contract.
In a busy transfer window, Chelsea has already signed defender Benoit Badiashile, striker David Fofana and midfielder Andrey Santos, while forward Joao Felix joined the London club on loan from Atletico Madrid earlier this month.
“This is a huge club, in a fantastic league and it is a very attractive project for me at this stage of my career,” Mudryk said in a statement.
