KARACHI: The martyrdom anniversary of Karbala, including Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his family, is being observed today.
According to details, processions of condolence, knowledge, and Zuljanah will be held across the country. The main procession in Karachi will start from Nishtar Park and will end at Kharadar.
The passageways of the procession in Karachi are closed to the public, containers have been placed on the roads, the Sindh government has tightened security arrangements for the participants of the procession, while double riding of motorcycles will be banned in Sindh.

In Lahore, the funeral procession of Hazrat Imam Hussain (a.s.) will be taken out from Haveli Al-Af Shah. The procession will reach Imambargah Karbala Gamay Shah through traditional and ancient routes and end. Strict security arrangements have been made on this occasion.
Aerial surveillance of Chehlum processions will also be carried out in important cities of the country, and strict security arrangements have been made on the procession routes. Chehlum processions will also be taken out from Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Quetta, and Peshawar.
