A ceremony was held in the central Jame Masjid Landa Bazaar, Jaranwala, to promote unity and religious harmony between the Muslim and Christian communities. In this central event, religious scholars from all faiths, Christian priests, and citizens participated.
To promote unity among the Muslim and Christian communities and maintain an atmosphere of peace and love, “Charter of Jaranwala” was signed.
SP Town Bilal Mahmood Solhri, Assistant Commissioner Abdul Hannan Khan, DSP Circle Jaranwala Malik Tariq, along with all religious scholars and Christian priests, traders’ fraternity, civil society, and journalists participated.
In the ceremony, a pact called “Charter of Jaranwala” was signed, which had a six-point agenda to ensure the establishment of peace and the continuation of unity between the Muslim and Christian communities.
The participants in the ceremony mentioned that due to the tireless efforts of the Punjab government and the district administration, peace had been restored in Jaranwala, and the police and law enforcement agencies deserve congratulations for their hard work.
On this occasion, slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Long Live the Muslim-Christian Community” were raised, and special prayers were offered for the security and stability of the nation.
