KARACHI: The campaign launched against the encroachment in the Shariki District of Karachi Division has escalated.
Areas with regard to removing the encroachment were inspected and illegal structures were being removed.
In this regard, the builders of the Soldier Bazaar were warned against illegal builders to remove the encroachments immediately, otherwise the encroachments and illegal structures would be removed. No obstacle to public land will ever be tolerated by the authorities
It is to be noted that steps are being taken on a regular basis to eliminate the encroachments by the municipality.
Chairman Municipality of Shraki Maid Anwar also inspected the road rehabilitation work connected with Bara Market in front of UC17 Lesbila and gave instructions for completion of development work as soon as possible.
On this occasion, members of Bara Market Association elaborated on the steps of Chairman Maid Anwar and said that after a long time the efforts of the local representatives were solving their problems.
Apart from the officers, the area residents were also present during the visit, who also identified some problems, and Chairman Maid Anwar gave immediate instructions to the concerned officers for their understanding.
