The hotel manager from Cannoli Cafe who was mocked by the owners over his English accent has clarified that the video was not made to insult him.
A hotel manager named Awais, in a video, spoke about the recent video made about his English accent that went viral. The owners in the video can be seen asking the manager to speak in English, however, he said that it was not made to insult or embarrass him, but it was only for ‘fun’.

Awais said that he was happy that so many people supported him. However, he was not being abused at his workplace. He also said that the video was just for ‘fun’ and his bosses did not intend to humiliate him.

He also revealed that just after the incident, his bosses called him and apologized for the incident and regretted uploading the video on social media.
He once again maintained that he had been working with the owners of the Cannoli cafe for the past 10 years. “If the owners were brutal to me from the start, I would have never worked for them all these years,” Awais said.
