The businessmen delegation headed by Ishtiaq Baig Chairman Pak-Morocco Business Council and Hon. Consul General of Morocco Ishtiaq Baig has returned after a successful visit to Morocco.
During the visit, the delegation comprised of 25 leading businessmen from various sectors, Miza Ikhtiar Baig Member of Parliament and former SVP was also part of the delegation.
The delegation visited the Casablanca Chamber of Commerce & Industry and had a meeting with the President Mr. Hassan Berkani and his team.
The delegation also visited the Rabat Chamber of Commerce and met the President and his team, B2B meetings were also held between the businessmen at the chambers.
During the delegation visit, a biryani festival was also organized at the Embassy of Pakistan in Rabat, attended by the Ambassador of Pakistan, diplomats, Presidents of Chambers and businessmen.
The Pakistani chef and his team prepared different types of biryanis. This was the 4th biryani festival held in Morocco to promote Pakistani rice and spices.
Morocco is a gateway to Africa and a business hub, the bilateral trade between Pakistan and Morocco has reached USD 850 million. After the visit of the delegation, it is expected that bilateral trade between two countries will further increase.
