Plagiarism is not new in India so is creating remixes of iconic songs that too without giving credit to the original songs and this time, it’s Nazia Hassan’s iconic song ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’.
Recently, Bollywood’s upcoming movie ‘An Action Hero’ featuring Ayushmann Khurrana dropped the remix song of a 1980s hit which was sung by Nazia Hassan for Zeenat Aman’s movie ‘Qurbani’.

However, social media users did not like the remix song and expressed that they don’t understand why would anyone pick an old classic song and simply ruin it.
Another user said that this song may get views just because they remember Nazia Hassan’s beautiful voice and the oomph she brought to it.

Another Twitter user shared a clip from Hassan’s ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ video and wrote that this was a case of another masterpiece “being copied by Bollywood”. The original will “always remain unmatched”.
One of the users wanted lyricist Tanishk Bagchi and music producer Bhushan Kumar to be jailed for “destroying” a nostalgic song.
