The body of legendary comedian Umer Sharif, who passed away on Friday due to multiple ailments, will reach Pakistan tomorrow morning.
Talking to the media, Umer Sharif’s son Jawad Umer said that his father’s funeral prayers will be offered at 3 pm tomorrow at Umer Sharif Park which is located at Clifton.
He also requested his father’s fans to attend the funeral prayers. Jawad Umer said that Maulana Bashir Farooqui would lead the funeral prayers of his father.
Jawad Umer requested the people to pray for the forgiveness of Umer Sharif and thanked all the institutions including the government for their great help. Earlier, the legendary comedian’s funeral prayers were offered in Nuremberg, Germany.

Sharif passed away on October 2, two days after he was hospitalised in Nuremberg with pneumonia. His body will be flown to Pakistan on October 4. He will be buried at Abdullah Shah Ghazi graveyard, as he wished.
Umer was en route to Washington in a German air ambulance that took off from Karachi on September 28. His stay in Germany, which was expected to be brief, was prolonged by the in-flight fever. He passed away after his condition worsened during dialysis.
