PESHAWAR: An explosion ripped through the Budhber area of Peshawar on Sunday, badly damaging a police patrol van.,
According to information gathered by MM News, the blast took place in Badhber Sheikhan area Sunday morning.
Police vehicle was on patrolling duty on the Frontier Road when some explosives concealed in a paint box went off. However, no casualty was reported.
The bomb disposal squad (BDS) said that approximately one kilogram of explosives was used in the blast
The explosion caused no fatality but the vehicle was badly damaged. Police have cordoned off the area and launched investigation.
Meanwhile, the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in a statement has claimed responsibility for the attack in Peshawar.
