KARACHI: Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that democracy and elections have been stopped in the country for the return of one person.
According to details, in one of his statements, the former foreign minister said, “We need a new way of thinking and a new politics for today’s Pakistan. New leadership is necessary to join the new era.”
In the statement, the PPP chairman said that the politics of selection has killed democracy in the country. “Whoever is to blame in this whole situation, now we have to move on. Elections will have to be held,” he added.

The former foreign minister said that the elections were stopped for the return of one person. “The Election Commission should announce the date of the immediate general elections,” he said by adding, “Repeated delay in elections is not respect of vote but disrespect.”
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the people of Occupied Palestine were not alone either today or tomorrow. “As long as there is Pakistan, the people of Palestine cannot be alone. The entire Pakistan is united on the issue of Palestine,” he asserted.
