Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has made box office history by entering the Rs 100-crore club in its opening weekend. This achievement is particularly impressive, considering the film faced stiff competition from Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again during the Diwali release.
According to early estimates, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 earned Rs 33.5 crore on its third day, bringing its total to Rs 106 crore. Released over the extended Diwali weekend, the film directed by Anees Bazmee exceeded expectations and set a new record for Kartik Aaryan.
The film had a strong start, earning Rs 35.5 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 37 crore on Saturday. Despite a slight dip of 10-15% on Sunday, the film added an estimated Rs 33.5 crore, resulting in an impressive three-day net total of Rs 106 crore.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 now ranks third among Kartik Aaryan’s highest-grossing films, following Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (approximately Rs 108.95 crore) and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (Rs 184.32 crore).
The collections on Monday will be crucial for the film’s overall box office success, as it has a two-week window to maximize earnings before facing new competition from upcoming Hollywood releases, including Wicked and Gladiator 2, set to debut later this month.
The film also stars Triptii Dimri and Rajpal Yadav, alongside Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit.
