LAHORE: On Thursday, the Lahore Development Authority’s (LDA) Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) sealed over 24 businesses for breaching parking regulations in various areas of Lahore.
During operations conducted in Shadman I, Shah Jamal, and Gulberg, the TEPA Enforcement Wing also took down unauthorized signboards.
The businesses that were sealed include Bank Al-Habib, Hair Club, Kims, KFC, Yousaf School System, outlets of popular brands, bakeries, food establishments, private offices, and several other enterprises.
The operations were supervised by TEPA’s Director of Enforcement, Furqan Zaheer, and were carried out in collaboration with the Police.
According to TEPA officials, many notices had been issued to the property owners prior to initiating the operations.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has instructed that unrelenting actions continue against breaches of parking regulations, illegal signage, and encroachments throughout Lahore.
