The video of the incident has gone viral showing the cricketer walking on a layer of burning coal embers laid on the grass.
The process is claimed as part of a ‘mind-training’ drill ahead of Asia Cup. He is being assisted by another person who is also present in the frame.
The Asia Cup will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka later this month. Bangladesh, ranked 7th on the list, will lock horns against Sri Lanka on August 31.

The bizarre approach to preparation has generated mixed reactions from cricket enthusiasts. While some applaud his dedication, others express concerns about potential injuries before such a crucial event.
