The Bangladesh Cricket Board has finalized the preliminary schedule for the next T20 series against Pakistan, which has sparked a wave of excitement among fans.
Sources say that after preparing the initial schedule for the series against Pakistan, the Bangladesh Cricket Board has sent its proposed schedule to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to a report citing sources, under the proposed schedule, the Pakistan T20 team will arrive in Dhaka on July 18, and the three T20 matches will be played on July 20, 22, and 24.
The report states that all three T20 matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh have been proposed to be held at the Mirpur Stadium in Dhaka.
During the Champions Trophy, senior officials of the PCB and BCB had agreed on the series; this T20 series is not part of the FTP (Future Tours Programme).
After the Bangladesh tour, the Pakistani team will depart for the West Indies. The T20 series against the West Indies will start in the U.S. on July 31 and will consist of three matches. The white-ball series will also include three One Day Internationals (ODIs).
It is worth mentioning that the ongoing T20 series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will conclude today with the third and final match, while the national cricket team has convincingly won the first two matches.
Having won both matches, the national cricket team’s morale is high, and Bangladesh must defeat Pakistan today to avoid a whitewash in the three-match T20 series.
