QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has announced his resignation from the presidency of BAP (Balochistan Awami Party).
According to details, the chief minister of Balochistan resigned from the presidency of the BAP. Announcing his resignation, Jam Kamal Khan said that he had been the President of Balochistan Awami Party for three years and had rendered excellent services.
Expressing good wishes for BAP, CM Jam Kamal said that he prayed that his party would make further progress in the province while he has resigned from the presidency of the Awami Party.
It may be recalled that earlier a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Jam Kamal was filed by the Opposition MLAs in the Balochistan Assembly Secretariat for the support of which the support of 33 members of the House was deemed necessary.

The country’s constitution gives members of the assembly the right to wage a no-confidence motion against the provincial chief minister and to wage a political struggle to remove him from office. Members of the Balochistan Assembly exercised their constitutional right to file a motion last month.
