KARACHI: Pakistan’s former captain Babar Azam has climbed five spots to secure the fifth position in the ICC Men’s Test Batting Rankings.
The cricketer now stands as the only batsman in the world to rank among the top five in all three formats—Test, ODIs, and T20.
Babar was previously placed at 10th but his ranking improved significantly after India and Australia batters could not perform much in their respective Test matches.
New Zealand veteran Kane Williamson maintains his position as the world’s No. 1 ranked Test batter. Virat Kohli now holds the sixth position.
