ISLAMABAD: As many as 170 Pakistani passengers stuck at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport reached in Islamabad on a special flight.
Airport officials said that all 170 Pakistani nationals were tested on their arrival at the airport for the virus symptoms by specially designated health officers and it was decided to quarantine all the passengers.
The official said blood samples of the passengers were taken for the coronavirus test and the passengers will be kept in quarantine till the test report comes.
170 Pakistanis have been stuck at the Thai capital since 25 March when Pakistan disallows International flights in an effort to restrain the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.
Earlier, Civil Aviation Spokesman has confirmed that a special flight will bring the stranded Pakistanis from the Thai capital. The flight had a one-time acquiescence to enter Pakistan.
