LAHORE: A forensic report carrying details of weapons and bullets used in attempt on the life of PTI Chairman Imran Khan has surfaced, saying that some 31 bullet casings were found at the crime scene.

Imran Khan was leading his Long March when at Wazirabad’s Allah Wala Chowk, his convoy came under fire, allegedly from multiple sides, killing one supporter on the spot and injuring 13 others including the PTI Chief.
The prime suspect, identified as Naveed and caught on the spot, claimed to have acted lonely but investigators rejected his stance, saying that multiple shooters were involved in the assassinations attempt.
According to the latest forensic report, copy of which is available with MM News, some 31 bullet casings were found at the spot of the attack, three bullet shells were found from the speaker placed on the container, three from the container grill, and 14 bullet shells were on the road.

The report further states that ten bullet casings were found from the ground near the prime suspect Naveed’s house and one from the shop nearby.
It states that one bullet hit the PTI chief Imran Khan directly while two bullets shot through another object before hitting him. As a result of the bullets, a metal shard was stuck in his body which was also operated.
Besides these, four bullet shells found from the spot of the attack were fired by the main suspect Naveed while two bullets were fired from a Kalashnikov rifle.
