Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has revealed that he was once a gymnast during his school days.
The actor has come a long way, from boarding school to working as a cosmetic salesman and making it big in Bollywood. As a kid, Arshad was a top-level gymnast but couldn’t pursue the same.
Speaking about the same, the actor had previously said, “My memory about my school and friends is more than my memory of my parents.”
He went on to say, “When I was nine, I was selected from amongst thousands of students by two British men to get trained as a world-class gymnast. I asked my father for permission but he denied.”
He said that while it was his great foresight to not allow him to take it up, at that time, he just felt angry as he wanted it so badly. “I became indifferent to my parents as I stayed away from them,” he said.

However, he quit school after 10th, his father passed away due to bone cancer and his mother passed away due to kidney failure. Over the years, Arshad Warsi delivered hits like ‘ Golmaal: Fun Unlimited’, ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’, and ‘Jolly LLB’ to name a few. The actor married Maria Goretti in February 1999. The couple had two kids, son Zeke Warsi and daughter Zene Zoe Warsi.
