Pakistan’s Olympic gold medalist and javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem has been honored with the prestigious Best Asian Athlete award by the Asian Athletics Federation, media reported on Sunday.
In a proud moment for Pakistan, Arshad Nadeem was honored with the award during the federation’s recent official meeting in South Korea.

His outstanding accomplishments have not only brought great pride to Pakistan but also established him as one of the continent’s elite athletes.
The award ceremony was graced by prominent sports personalities, including Major General (r) Muhammad Akram Sahi, Chairman of South Asian Athletics.
Athletics Federation of Pakistan president Brig (r) Wajahat Hussain, along with secretary Col (r) Shahjahan and senior official Salman Iqbal Butt were also present in the ceremony.
