The fourth-generation iPhone SE is set to receive significant enhancements, according to claims by the leaker known as “Ice Universe.”
This information was shared in a post on Weibo, which also outlined the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup.
As anticipated, the new iPhone SE is expected to introduce several notable changes. The device will reportedly feature Face ID and a USB-C port, replacing the traditional Touch ID Home button and Lightning port found in previous models.
Additionally, the iPhone SE’s display will see a substantial increase in size, expanding from 4.7 inches to 6.06 inches and incorporating an OLED panel for the first time.
Performance-wise, the fourth-generation iPhone SE is anticipated to be powered by the A18 chip, similar to the iPhone 16 series. It is also expected to come with 6GB to 8GB of LPDDR5 memory, an aluminium chassis, and a single 48-megapixel rear camera.
The new model is projected to launch between March and May 2025, with a price range of $499 to $549. For comparison, the current model was introduced in March 2022 with a starting price of $429.
