Zimbabwe, playing their first test since November 2018, came to an end the fourth day on 30 without demise and 127 runs trailing after Brian Mudzin-ganyama was drafted as a substitute for opener Kevin Kasuza.
Debutant Kasuza, who had made 63 in the first innings, experienced a delay due to injury after taking a blow to the helmet on Tuesday while fielding on a short leg.
