LAHORE: An anti-narcotics court will hear the case of former Punjab minister Rana Sanaullah on 7th March in the drug case.
Earlier on 3rd February, Sanaullah skipped hearing over personal issues in the assets case.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) summoned him and ordered him to bring complete documentation of lands and farm-house that he owned.
The ANC had also turned down two petitions filed by Sanaullah. In December last, Sanaullah was granted bail by the Lahore High Court in the same case.
The PML-N stalwart was arrested on 1st July by the ANF when he was traveling from Faisalabad to Lahore. According to an ANF spokesperson, a large number of drugs were recovered from the PML-N leader’s car.
Sanaullah was later shifted to an unidentified place for further investigations, while his arrest by widely condemned by the PML-N and opposition parties. The ANF had submitted a charge-sheet in July in the case naming Rana Sanaullah and six other suspects.
