Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy is currently dominating the charts on the online streaming platform, #1 in most countries around the world.
Showrunner Steve Blackman in the regard to season’s renewal said, “We haven’t been picked up, I have my fingers crossed. But I know what season four is in my head.”
He continued, “I have already sort of worked out the beginning, middle and end of it. When I started this thing, I sort of knew four seasons of the show. I have nothing passed that in my brain, but I’ve sort of kept to a trajectory.”
“So, I have a really good sense of what season four would be, and it should be just as bonkers as the other seasons — what a challenge these superheroes, this family has been powerless,” he was quoted as saying.

The Umbrella Academy season 3 ended on a purposeful thriller, where the team may have saved all of existence, but in exchange, undeliberately lost their powers.
In terms of an actual timeline for Umbrella Academy season 4, without a renewal, there is not a release date. Season 2 debuted in July 2020, while season 3 arrived in June 2022.
The Umbrella Academy season 1 debuted in February 2019. If we do that again, that would put the Umbrella Academy release date around maybe December, 2023.
