Ali Noor, who is a very famous singer from Pakistan, and his band gave some of the best and most evergreen songs, openly addressed the harassment allegations.
In 2021, Noor went through some sexual harassment allegations after a journalist came forward with allegations to which Noor never categorically addressed the allegations.
Now, Ali Noor was a guest on Ahmad Ali Butt’s podcast, where he shared that he is such an easygoing person and women have always felt safe with him. He believes, that because of his aura, women feel safe with him without making him their brother.
Thus, when these allegations came on, he was flustered, according to the singer. He handled this in his own way and it took him time to realize that everyone was pulling away from him. However, Ali Noor said that he is thankful though, that he has nothing to do with commercialism anymore.
Ali Noor got a lot of backlash and many people called him out after the allegations’ news surfaced online of his sexual harassment involvement with women he worked with or were called his friends.
Noor was accused of sexual harassment twice in a span of two years on professional grounds. In April 2023, he was accused by a female singer Maha Ali Kazmi accused the singer of sexual harassment. In February 2022, he was accused by a female journalist named Ayesha Binte Rashid who accused him of sexually harassing her. Due to that, Ali Noor also lost a lot of work after this news went viral.
