MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Food Authority took a significant step by identifying food items from six businesses as unhealthy, thereby prohibiting their sale due to safety concerns. Deputy Commissioners and SSPs in the District were promptly informed of this decision.
According to Daily Ausaf, this move was based on a report from the PCSIR laboratory.
Products such as Dostea tea mix’s Tea whitener, Hico’s Hicovinila, and Sweetzone’s Melon sweet were among those deemed harmful to health.
Moreover, Menu’s nuggets, kebabs, Chill Pill’s koftas, and skewers, along with Meat Club’s koftas, were included in the list of harmful products.
All District Food Safety Officers have been instructed to seize these companies’ products immediately. The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Food Authority’s Safety officers will ensure that these items are not available for sale in the market.
