An Airport Security Force (ASF) officer on Tuesday physically assaulted a passenger, Javed Ahmad, in the presence of his family including his children at New Islamabad International Airport.
A video of the incident circulated on social media, capturing ASF personnel identified as Zia slapping and mistreating Ahmad, who had just arrived in Pakistan from Saudi Arabia to spend holidays with his family.
The footage also showed the passenger’s daughters visibly distressed and crying during the altercation.
Following the incident, the ASF officer reportedly summoned the victim’s family to his office and issued threats against them.
The passenger’s daughters have since appealed to the relevant authorities, calling for immediate action against the officer’s excessive and unlawful behavior.
